What is the Hill's Breeder Rewards Club and how does it work?

    The Hill's Breeder Rewards Club is a fantastic programme that allows Hill's Breeder Association members to earn BRC points by purchasing Hill's Science Plan products and participating in a wide variety of activities that support Hill's. These BRC points are redeemable against some amazing rewards (click here to see the Breeder Rewards Club Catalogue).

    The Breeder Rewards Club is available to all active Hill's Breeder Association members. That is all HBA members that actively make purchases through Lakato or use our Starter Kits and return the completed tags to us. These HBA members will automatically be added on to the Breeder Rewards Club. BRC points are earned from the 1st of July until the 30th of June the following year. All the BRC Points you earn can be claimed at any point in this period, but will need to be claimed by the 15th August after the period ends, or your points will expire. You can claim for smaller items, or you can accumulate your BRC points throughout the period to claim bigger rewards. BRC Points cannot be transferred to the next period.

    All active Hill's Breeder Association members will receive regular email statements and twice yearly we will also mail a statement showing how many BRC points you have earned and what BRC rewards you have claimed, so you will always know how many BRC points you have available.

    Earning BRC points is easy and we have lots of great rewards for you, so start working towards your BRC rewards straight away! In fact many of you have already earned points as all purchases made from the 1st of July 2009 is eligible for points

    How do I earn Breeder Rewards Club Points?

    There are lots of different ways for you to earn points. Here are some ways:

    • Hill's Science Plan Product Purchases:


    You can earn BRC points by simply purchasing Hill's Science Plan products through direct delivery.
    Every R100 spent on Hill's Science Plan products purchased through Lakato will earn you 5 points.

    • Starter Kit Registrations


    Completing the registration tags attached to our starter kits and returning them to us within 2 months of the puppy or kitten being sold will earn you BRC points:

    Kitten

    1 Tag = 70 points

    Puppy Mini (Small Breeds):

    1 Tag = 50 points

    Puppy Original (Medium Breeds):

    1 Tag = 70 points

    Puppy Large Breed(Large Breeds):

    1 Tag = 90 points

    • Find a Friend Rewards


    You can earn points by introducing new breeders and competitors to the Hill's Breeder Association programme. Once your friend has made a purchase through the Hill's Breeder Association you will earn 300 points.

    • Promoting and endorsing Hill's

    You can also earn BRC points by promoting Hill's. Using the Hill's Science Plan logo and promoting Hill's on your website (as the sole brand of choice) or using the Hill's or Hill's Science Plan Logo in printed advertisements in recognised magazines. The amount awarded is at the discretion of your Breeder Manager.

    How do I claim my Breeder Rewards Club Rewards?

    1. You will receive a email statement from us, that will show you how many BRC points you have available to claim.
    2. Go to the Rewards Catalogue so you can decide what you would like to claim.
    3. Download and complete the online order form and either email or fax this to us.
    Don't forget that you can claim BRC Rewards whenever you like during the period, but if you don't claim by 15 August, the BRC points that you have collected will expire.
